I love mosaicing mannequins and I really love poppies. I always look forward to our massive yearly bloom in our front yard seeing beautiful vibrant orange first thing in the morning. They grow so hearty and are so tough yet they are so beautiful. Kind of like California’s version of the lotus flower! I wanted to convey that bright beautiful feeling in this half torso. I am working on a back ground color now. I can’t seem to make a decision just yet. I also put a micro mosaic inside of a beveled medallion for her necklace.
